The presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump was watched by 84 million people on US TV, breaking a previous record set 36 years ago. Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan's debate in 1980 drew 80.6 million viewers.
The first debate was mostly a battle between the Lawyer and the Salesman. And for most part, the Lawyer came on top. Hillary Clinton who was a lawyer proved as a talented one too. She clearly proved Trump's approach was all salesman talk and it has no substance.
Hillary Clinton also took a hit against Trump for his record of praise for President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia. Mrs.Clinton also suggested that she was worried about Mr. Trump getting his hands on the nuclear codes.
She also stressed to release Tax returns of Donald Trump and he once again tried to evade the answer. Hillary Clinton also condemned Mr. Trump for refusing to pay contractors on several projects.
