1. Former Israel President Shimon Peres no more
Shimon Perse,former Israel President passed away at the age of 93 in Tel Aviv. He was hospitalised after he suffered stroke two weeks ago. He was awarded Nobel Peace Prize and his health deteriorated suddenly yesterday.
2. 18 killed in illegal coal mine explosion in China
18 miners were killed and two missing due to explosion at a coal mine in Northern China. Authorities blamed illegal mining activities underground in Zhinzuishan, Ningzia, China.
3. Dubai airport shut for drone activity
World's busiest airport Dubai International Airport was closed fof 30 minutes due to unauthorised drone activity. This resulted in disruption of flights for more than a hour. Officials tweeted "airspace around Dubai International was closed from 8.08am to 8.35am, resulting in a number of flight delays. Arrivals resumed at 8.35am and departures at 8.40am, with full operations resuming at 9.07am,"
