Telangana
1. Asaduddin Owaisi, MIM chief demanded PM Modi and his government to take steps like providing reservation and demand-driven scholarships to the community if it is really concerned with the empowerement of muslims. 
2. Railways decided to run Hyderabad-Durgapura spl AC train starting from Oct 3 to take care of the rush during dasara festival.  02731 special AC train will depart from Hyderabad at 9 PM on (Mondays) October 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 and November 7 and 14, and will reach Durgapura at 3.25 AM on the third day.Similarly, train number 02732 will depart from Durgapura on October 5, 12, 19, 26 and November 2, 9, 16 at 9.20 PM and arrive at Hyderabad on third day at 5.10 AM.
3. BMor ethan 16 black magicians indulging in sorcerey were arrested by cops from Old City in Hyderabad after they came to know that they were extracting money from innocent people by claiming to have extraordinary powers.
4.A Division Bench of the Hyderabad High Court comprising Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice U Durga Prasad Rao said it was not consulted on APAT decision and wanted the Telangana Government to explain how the State Government could request the Union of India to delete the State of Telangana from the Purview of AP Administrative Tribunal (APAT) which leads to transfer of more than 8,670 cases of Telangana before the APAT, without consulting the High Court at all.
5. Backward Classes Minister Jogu Ramanna promised to take up the demand for the installation of  a statue of late Minister Konda Laxman Bapuji at his Jaladrushyam residence on the banks of Hussainsagar lake where the ruling TRS took birth but the structure was later pulled down by the TDP government with the present government after everyone rememberd Konda Lakshman on his 101st birth anniversary.
6.TRS government decided not to go for the Metro Rail alignment change in old city afte rthe success of pillar (piers) work in Sultan Bazar.It wanted  to apply the same formula and build the elevated line from Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS), Imlibun till Falaknuma, a seven kilometre stretch.
7.Agri, Vet courses counselling starts from October3 and it will be based on  Telangana State EAMCET-I 2016 ranks and for the candidates who have already applied in response to the notification given earlier.
8. Telangana Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao dashed a letter to Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharati on Tuesday night bringing it her notice that Andhra Pradesh has drawn 5.05 TMC ft water from Pothireddypadu Head Regulator located on the foreshores of Srisailam reservoir by recording only 1.83 TMC ft officially from September 16 to 27.
9. Tourism boost for the state from Telangana as Minister for Tourism and Culture A. Chandulal said Telangana has got Rs. 300 crore as Central aid for various projects this year and tourism development work is underway speaking at the  inauguration of World Tourism Day here.
10. NZ sends back 150 Hyderabad students for producing fake documents. Around 150 students from Hyderabad have been served deportation letters by the immigration department of New Zealand for producing fake documents while applying for student visas.


Andhra Pradesh
1.Andaman bound ship M.V. Harshavardhana with 506 passengers and 50 crew members which sailed for Andaman from Visakhapatnam at 1.35 PM on Tuesday was stranded in Bay of Bengal from Tuesday night due to technical snag resulting in panic. Officials provided food and water to all passengers. 
2. AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu released  draft of 'Sunrise AP Vision 2029' document  that envisions to "remould" the state into a "happy and globally-competitive society" by 2029 at a two day conference of distrct collectors in Vijayawada. 
3. Central team to visit Visakhapatnam to assess the damage caused tue to heavy rains in and around Andhra Pradesh which resulted in the death of many people. 
4. The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) is organising its South Zone Vice-Chancellors Meet on September 27 and 28 at Vignan University in Guntur and Union minister for urban development M. Venkaiah Naidu, along with minister for health Kamineni Srinivas Rao and chairman of Vignan Group of Institutions Dr L. Rathaiah launch University News issue during during the South Zone Vice-Chancellor’s meeting at Vignan University in Vadlamudi village of Guntur district.
5. Leaders of Hindu Chaitanya Vedika, Hindu Seva Samiti, Hindu Chaitanya Samiti student federation and Sivasakthi Sena warned  the Pentecostal Mission, a Christian organisation based at Chennai, to cancel their Suvartha meetings which were planned between October 6-9 in Tirupati, as the Srivari Brahmotsavams are also slated between October 3-11 in Tirumala.
6. Andhra Pradesh is planning to impose extra taxes to bridge revenue gap in the current fiscal and the reason is  massive gap is because of the release of additional budget to various departments. At the end of current fiscal, the total expenditure will be Rs 1,35,132 crore and the expected revenue receipts Rs 1,27,631 crore. The revenue gap between expenditure and revenue receipts will be Rs 7,601 crore.
7.Minister for Water Resources Devineni Umamaheswara Rao said Andhra Pradesh was not pilfering water from the Srisailam reservoir through the Pothireddypadu regulator as alleged by Telangana.
8.Mee Seva service centre operators selected in Prakasam district during 2015 staged a demonstration in front of the Prakasam Bhavan here on Tuesday demanding that they be entrusted with all the Mee Seva services to help them overcome losses.
9. Kadapa Superintendent of Police P.H.D. Ramakrishna on Tuesday warned police personnel of stringent action if they connived with red sanders smugglers. 
10.Film actor Jeevitha, who is hosting a Telugu TV show aimed at helping disturbed families resolve disputes, herself landed in soup when a person accused her of threatening him to participate in that show.
