It is known news that the congress party is doing everything possible to project that Rahul Gandhi is their next potential Prime Ministerial candidate and arrangements are being made accordingly. But it is also a known fact that after the series of scams and corruption issues the party has gone through, their victory is highly doubtful.
At this point, many are predicting that there are only three Ms who can be called as aspirants to the PM’s chair. They are Narendra Modi, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Mayawati. Modi has got the strongest chance because he is putting forward his state Gujarat as the example for growth and development.
Mulayam Singh has the advantage of the big state Uttar Pradesh under his control since his son is the Chief Minister. As for Mayawati, she has dreamt of becoming the PM from a long time and has got various tools like the caste card, good strength of MPs etc. The elections are happening in 2014 so let us see.
