Gone are the days when Megastar Chiranjeevi was the unchallenged hero of the local media. Chiru has been more or less ignoring the state media right from the time he had decided to merge PRP with Congress for a lot of ‘benefits’. This was also responsible for him facing lot of criticism from his political opponents and his own fans.
Though he was feeling uncomfortable, he used to give media bytes just to make sure that he keeps media personnel belonging to AP in good humor. But especially after the Ram Charan incident involving techies and adverse criticism in the social media and press about his lavish party as a tourism minister, things have changed.
