Once again for the third year in a row the AP budget will be approved without a serious debate .It happened in 2011 and 2012 and will happen again this year also , though with a difference . The house will pass a report by standing committees on the demands of the budget.
After the experience of the March budget session the Kiran Govt struck against TRS and BJP for disrupting proceedings in Assembly on Telangana statehood issue .Twenty two legislators belonging to TRS and BJP along with two independent MLAs associated with them were suspended from the Andhra Pradesh Assembly for two days .
Finance Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy did the high drama of pending bills including Appropriation Bill passage to enable salaries of employees for month of June . No one is serious about the discussion on reports submitted by the Departmentally-Related Standing Committees on the budget proposals
The Govt failed to rope in even TDP to its rescue as the opposition party refused to attend even the BAC for last two days. TDP did not want the stigma of ‘colluding with the Congress’.
