Youth who makes the future of the nation is really waiting for something interesting in Arun Jaitley's budget. As the Government is busy in promoting the digital India, the young nation says it wants a good education system with normalized fess structure and price reduction in electronic gadgets. A part from these the youngsters also wants the government to create employment.
As India is going for digital payments, youth is depending mostly on their smart phones for online transactions. They are using various apps for their payments. In this backdrop Youth is demanding price reduction in smart phones and they wish that the other electronic appliances rates should also be slashed down.
According to a survey conducted by a national daily, many students and professionals said they wanted a youth-oriented budget that will help underprivileged students pursue higher studies and cheaper electronic gadgets to make the government’s Digital India initiative a success in a country where almost 47.8 per cent of population is currently aged below 29.
The fee structure should be normalised. Many times, brilliant students do not study further because of financial issues. That should remain the focus for Arun Jaitley,” Ankit Mishra a student pursuing MBBS said.
A 23old lawyer said that there should be a third committee monitoring the funds allocated for various sectors in the budget and see that whether they are properly used are not.
