1.  Modi government puts on hold proposal to trim Lutyens Bungalow Zone :  The Narendra Modigovernment has put on hold its move to shrink the capital's iconic Lutyens Bungalow Zone. The decision to go slow has come after the latest exchange of barbs between the Centre and the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi.
2.  Expansive military partnership :  India and the US have agreed to "sustain and take forward" momentum of their expansive bilateral defence relationship, which is the keystone of their overall strategic partnership. US has bagged contracts worth $15 billion from India since 2007, even overtaking Russia in some years.

6.  India requests UK to extradite Vijay Mallya :  India has handed over a formal request to the UK for Vijay Mallya's extradition to face trial in India. Confirming the development, foreign ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup said the request, as received from the CBI, was handed over to the UK high commission in New Delhi.
