Bifurcated states Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are getting ready to fight another battle in water wars. It is known that people can never forget former CM of united Andhra Pradesh Kiran Kumar Reddy arguing against the bifurcation said water wars will increase.
Right after the formation of Telangana, tensions increased across AP,Telangana borders as people and officials started fighting bitter water wars. With CMs KCR and Chandra Babu not calming the atmosphere, this resulted in peculiar situation.
Now both CMs decided to settle the issues through discussions. According to the latest Telangana and AP water experts will be meeting and arguing their case on river water sharing in front of the five-member expert committee headed by former Central Water Commission chairman A.K. Bajaj.
The committee members arrived in Hyderabad on Sunday and will hold talks front the five-member expert committee headed by former Central Water Commission chairman A.K. Bajaj. If needed joint meeting will be held between both the officials in Delhi later.
Union Water resources Minister Uma Bharati constituted the commitee after her talks with CMs kCR and Chandra Babu failed to yeild results.
