2.  Isro's space odyssey continues with record number of satellites placed in orbit :  The Indian Space Research Organisation has set a world record with the successful launch of PSLV-C37 of placing the most number of satellites into the earth's orbit. Isro’s workhorse PSLV was launched at 9:28 am on Wednesday from the space centre in Andhra Pradesh’s Sriharikota.
3. Modis photo removed from Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana site after Election Commission prod :  The government has removed the photographs of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and minister for housing and urban poverty alleviation M Venkaiah Naidu from the website of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana after the Election Commission ordered their removal in view of model code of conduct in force in poll-bound states including UP.

5.  Move Shahabuddin to Tihar jail', Supreme Court orders Bihar government :  Criminal turned politician Mohammad Shahabuddin must be moved to Tihar jail from Bihar's Siwan jail to ensure he doesn't get special treatment and so there can be a free and fair trial in the various cases against him, the Supreme Court ordered the Bihar government today.
6.  Record 27 US Congressmen travelling to India this month :  A record number of 27 US Congressmen will visit India later this month, reflecting the growing bipartisan support for strengthening the Indo-US strategic ties.
7.  Military not missing RDX from my time, says Lt Col in bail plea :  Military records show no explosives, includingRDX, was missing from seizures made during the tenure of Lt Col Prasad Purohit in Kashmir in 2002-04, the officer's counsel said on Tuesday.
8.  Three soldiers martyred, Lashkar terrorist killed in Bandipora shootout :  Major S Dahiya, who led the Army operation in Handwara in which three terrorists were killed, succumbed to his injuries late Tuesday evening, a defence spokesman said, adding that earlier in the day, a top Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist was eliminated in Bandipora. Both the encounters took place in North Kashmir.
