Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee is extremely popular among all sections of people. Despite being in BJP, all political leaders cutting across parties love him for his apolitical stands. His political rivals describe him as right man in the wrong party showing their anger on BJP and at the same time showering their love on Vajpayee.
Vajpayee was honoured with India's highest civilian award Bharat Ratna. Vajpayee for more than ten years is not seen in public domain as he has been suffering from ill health due to old age. He is confined to his house and even his family members are not talking about him.
Under these circumstances, RJD chief Laloo Prasad Yadav came with a sensational statemnt on Vajpayee's ill health. Vajpayee who visited Rae Bareli campaigning for the party in the ongoing Uttar Pradesh elections, said Vajpayee has been put on intoxicants and was sidelined from active politics. He demanded investigation to findout the truth about Vajpayee's illness.
He accused BJP of hatching a conspiracy and sidelining Vajpayee scared of his popularity. This came as shock to all those and especially BJP leaders.
