Right after Donald Trump became US president tensions started increasing among all foreigners living in the country. Right after his decision to ban 7 muslim countries and review H1 B visa restrictions, tensions reached new level. 


With increase in racial attacks and shooting down of Indians, NRIs are experiencing scares about racial tensions in US and also their families in India. NRI who earlier worked in the most dangerous areas in the US expressed shock at the murder in Kansas city.

IT Minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy of Andhra Pradesh speaking to TANA former president and the AP special representative for North America (APSRNA) Komati Jayaram said  “My advice to the NRI community in US is to be a little cautious while moving around, and if possible avoid the sensitive pockets there,” 


Jayaram from Vijayawada however says  “We can’t judge the circumstances there with stray incidents,” Many of the Trump decisions like  barring entry for immigrants from some countries into the US, to the proposed ‘End Outsourcing Act’, sounded death knell to Indians.
