Former CM YS.Rajasekhar Reddy's son Jagan Mohan Reddy, leader of YSRCP is fighting legal battles over disproportionate assets. He was accused of amassing crores of wealth in quid pro qo manner. He spent few years in Chanchalguda jail for disproportionate assets case and is now out on bail.

In the midst of all this former Chief Secretary, former chief election commissioner P.Ramakanth Reddy made sensational revelations. He said CBI JD VV.Lakshminarayana who registered cases against Jagan is unaware of State secretariat and cabinet rules. 


He said during his tenure as Finance Secretary or Chief Secretary,Jagan didnot attended even one meeting held by YSR in camp office, secretariat and assembly. He said Jagan didnot write anything as son of CM asking for favours either for him or for his close aides. He said he didnot even called him and he met Jagan only after YSR's death to offer his condolences. 


He said CBI called him twice to Dilkusha Guest House during CBI JD Lakshminarayana tenure. He said during that time he asked whether he is questioning others too and at that time Lakshminarayana remarked that High Court didnot give him such powers. 


He said he pointed to Lakshminayrana that he can as investigating officer cacn interrogate anyone and seize any documents raiding houses and offices. He revealed that he questioned him whether High Court tells him to raid a particular office for which Lakshmi Narayana remarked that it will be even more troublesome. Ramakanth Reddy said he doesn't belive in Lakshmi Narayana's investigation. 


Ramakanth Reddy said he told him at that time that cases on Jagan will not stand in the court of law.
