Analysts and people of the country are getting clarity on who will emerge winners in the on going Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. What ever may be the results in the elections to the five state assemblies, analysts are unanimous that PM Modi will get huge shock in his own constituency Varanasi.
PM Modi's constituency Varanasi has five assembly segments and they are Rohania, Varanasi North,Varanasi South, Varanasi Cantonment and Sevapuri. While two are represented by BSP and SP respectively, the other three are in BJP's hands. After Modi swept the 2014 elections as MP, many expected that this time BJP will all the five assembly elections.
However it is comingout that under the changed circumstances, PM Modi's decisions, RSS' shock to Modi, and change of sitting MLAs along with one family getting all the tickets, rumours are spreading that BJP may not win even a single seat.
Compared to the Rohania and Sevapuri represented by SP and BSP, other constituencies are the strongholds of BJP.However many say BJP is expected to lose all of them too. If this turns out to be true, despite the final result across the state, Modi's popularity will take a beating.
