Telangana
1.  Over 10,000 bank staff participate in strike, operations paralysed :  Transactions at public sector bankscame to a halt as more than 10,000 employees went on a day-long strike on Tuesday. 
2.  Why farmers paid no relief for power lines in fields: Hyderabad High Court :  Noting that farmers may not be able to use their land any more for farming once electricity lines, poles, high tension wires and transformers are laid in their fields, the Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday sought to know from Telangana and AP as to why they are not paying compensation to farmers as was the case in the undivided state from 2007.
3.  Telengana eyes Centre's land for 2BHK scheme :  Worried over non-availability of land for construction of two-bedroom houses, the state government is now eyeing vacant and unused land that belongs to various central government departments and institutions.
4.  2 Nigerians arrested for job fraud :  The Cyber Crime cell of the Cyberabad policeon Tuesday apprehended two Nigerians for cheating some persons on Monday. From their possession, the police recovered a Fiat car, Rs 3,000 in cash, cell phones, bank passbooks, credit and debit cards.
5.  Injured were trapped in fallen bus for 4 hours :  At least 10 persons died and 32 injured when a private air-conditioned Volvo bus from Bhubaneswar to Hyderabad hit a bridge divider on NH-65 and plunged through the gap between the two lanes into a canal from a height of 22 ft near Mullapadu village in Penuganchiprolu mandal, 75km away from Vijayawada, in the early hours of Tuesday. 
6.  Hyderabad techie murder: The final journey in his favourite attire :   Dapper in a red checked shirt and black blazer with his favourite tie neatly knotted around his neck, Srinivas Kuchibhotla left home on his final journey on Tuesday, even as a distraught family wailed in despair. 
7.  Genetic disorders cripple over 50 lakh people in Telangana and Andhra :  Telangana and Andhra Pradesh together have over 50.79 lakh people who suffer from one of the globally identified 7,000 types of rare diseases. But neither the state nor the Centre recognise the concept of rare disease, leaving hapless parents struggling to cope.
8.  Hyderabad’s lovebirds sully ‘Love Hyd’ with corny graffiti :  The sculpture 'Love HYD', that was installed at Tank Bund, was supposed to be an ode to the city we love so much. But the love birds of Hyderabad seem to have taken the message of the typographical structure a tad too literally.
9.  Politicians join chorus, raise slogans for justice :  Several politicians converged at the Vaikunta Mahaprasthanam crematorium in the city on Tuesday to stand in solidarity with the family of Srinivas Kuchibhotla and condemn the alleged hate crime that left him dead and Alok Madasani injured.
10.  Bonanza for shepherds: Telangana to distribute 84 lakh sheep :  Giving a go ahead to chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's proposal to hasten economic development of shepherd families in the state, the cabinet sub-committee set up for the development of sheep and fisheries in the state on Tuesday recommended to the state government to distribute 84 lakh sheep worth Rs 5,000 crore on 75 per cent subsidy to the four lakh families whose livelihood is dependent on rearing sheep.


Andhra Pradesh
1.  Safe journey is a misnomer on Andhra Pradesh roads :  It appears 'safe journey' in private travels is fast turning into a mirage for passengers in Andhra Pradesh withtravel operatorsviolating the norms and caring two hoots for the safety of passengers. 
2.  Green zones mandatory in Andhra schools :  School education commissioner Sandhya Rani said that every school in the state should have green zones.
3.  Rail and air travel insured, what about bus travel :  The road accident brings to fore the necessity to introduce insurance for bus travel while booking a ticket.With the number of bus accidentsincreasing -at least half a dozen major bus accidents were reported in the last one year alone -and travelling by bus involving higher risk, it becomes all the more important to have an insurance cover.
4.  Territorial waters: State writes to GST Council :  The State government has expressed serious reservations on the definition of territorial waters given in the model Goods and Services Tax (GST) Law by the Centre.
5.  ‘Time India pressured U.S. to stop hate crime’ : Speakers at an emergency meeting here on Tuesday opined that the killing of Indians in the U.S. calls for all-round condemnation and for urgent steps on the part of the Government of India to pressure that country to ensure the safety of Indians living there. 
6.  CM reviews AIIMS works :  Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to speed up the process to sanction all permissions to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in the next 10 days.
7.  'Act tough against sand-mining’ :  District Collector Pravin Kumar has asked officials concerned to book cases against those digging sand within 500 meters of water supply schemes.
8.  Ajeya Kallam takes over as CS :  
   Ajeya Kallam assumed charge as Chief Secretary (CS) at Secretariat, near here, on Tuesday. He took charge from Satya Prakash (SP) Tucker, who retired from service on attaining superannuation. Mr. Ajeya Kallam, a 1983 batch IAS officer, however, will retire on March 31.
9.  Bank staff strike work :  Banking operations came to a grinding halt owing to participation of thousands of bank officers and staff on a day’s strike on Tuesday.
10.  'Declare undisclosed income under PMGKY’ :  Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, Kurnool Charge, M. Jagadish Babu, on Tuesday called upon persons having undisclosed income in the form of cash or deposits in accounts maintained by banks and post offices etc. to make a declaration under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana (PMGKY) before March 31.
