Telangana Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) seems to be speeding up its investigation in the sensational note for vote scam after Supreme Court issued notices to AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu recently. ACB which is probing the case named Sandra Vankata Veeraiah, TDP MLA from Sathupalli as accused no 5 in its supplementary chargesheet and asked the court to prosecute him under provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act.


ACB in its charge sheet mentioned that Veeraiah along with few party leaders and legislators met on May 30,2015 at AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu's resident in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad before proceeding ahead to buy the nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson's vote in the MLC election in favour of TDP nominee V Narender Reddy . 


It is known that ACB carried out sting operation on 31 May,2015 to catch TDP MLA Revanth Reddy and others red handed and seized 50 lakh cash from them. In the latest charge sheet ACB, tried to nail Chandra Babu on the role played by him but stopped short of making him an accused.

Inside talk is CBN willnot get any relief as ACB announced that it will file a third charge sheet naming the remaining accused. ACB is recording the statements of drivers and gunmen of TDP leaders that the ACB could establish that a crucial meeting of TDP leaders took place at Naidu's residence on May 30, 2015.


ACB traced the call data of the five accused, TDP Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath, MLC candidate Narender Reddy and his son Krishna Keerthan. ACB also established criminal conspiracy by the TDP  at Gandipet from May 27, 2015, with aim of buying votes in the MLC polls. TDP MLAs and other accused met at Novatel Hotel, Hi-Tec City on May 30-31.

ACB said that that 50 lakh was brought from Narender Reddy's house by his son and the same was handed over to Udaya Simha of Mettuguda. Gopinath, used his driver's SIM to avoid any suspicion.
