India's largest state Uttar Pradesh witnessed saffron tsunami stunning seasoned political analysts and opposition parties in the assembly elections branded as virtual semi final clash before the 2019 elections.
BJP riding on PM Modi wave decimated the the ruling SP, Congress and BSP leaving leaders like Akhilesh Yadav, Rahul Gandhi and Mayawati stunned. They even alleged tampering of EVMs and expressed doubts that muslim dominated constituencies witnessed large scale malpractices.
In the midst of all this PM Modi and Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi exchanged tweets after the election results. While Rahul Gandhi congratulted Modi for the stunning victory, Modi replied back in a graceful manner.
