The question of the safety about the non-residential Indians in other countries becomes very unsure .It kick started with Srinivasa Kuchibotla and continues with the racial attack on an Indian man in Austrailia on Monday.The politicians who seemed cares now has raised this issue in the Lok Sabha by the Congress.He emphasised the need of the Prime Minister's intervention to ensure safety for the NRI's.Congress Mp K.C Venugopal also mentioned about the attack on an Indian-origin taxi driver from Kerela who was assaulted in the state of Tasmania in Austrailia and added, these attacks continue without end.

Mr.Venugopal added that the taxi driver was attacked and the racist told the reason as"you bloody black Indians".Mr. Joy, who is pursuing a nursing course and working as a part-time taxi driver in Australia, alleged that five people including a girl hurled racial abuses and assaulted him at a restaurant in North Hobart.
The incident came a week after an Indian-origin Catholic priest was stabbed in the neck at a church in Melbourne.Replying to his contentions, Mr. Kumar said External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj takes up cases involving Indians with authorities of foreign governments and that safety of overseas Indians was a matter of priority for the government.



“It is a matter of serious concern...we are with the overseas Indians. We will leave no stone unturned to ensure safety of Indians abroad,” said Mr. Kumar.He also demanded a strong response by India towards such incidents.
