AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu is leaving no stone unturned to weaken his opponent, leader of the opposition Jagan Mohan Reddy. Ever since Union Government started sending positive signals that they will increase the number of assembly constituencies in the state, AP government headed by Chandra Babu is making moves to give shock to Jagan.
Inside talk is Chandra Babu is planning to split Jagan Mohan Reddy's fort Pulivendula into two in the reorganisation process to weaken him politically. Reports are coming that the seats in AP will be increased from 175 to 225. Centre according to sources sent signals that an increase in the number of Assembly constituencies could be done before the upcoming general polls.
There are ten assembly segments in Kadapa and three more segments are possible. TDP is keen to strike at the YSRCP and inside talk is two mandals from Pulivendula and two more mandals from Jammalamadugu Assembly segments could be redrawn and realigned to make a new constituency.
Senior YSRCP leader says “During the process of creating three more segments for Kadapa, enormous changes will be seen in Kadapa district", Citing this TDP is encouraging defections from YSRCP in Kurnool and Kadapa promising them tickets in the next elections.
