The CBI is currently planning to lock the current opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy in jail.He was already arrested and was kept in jail sentence for 16 moths a few years back.After then he was released on bail on condition and had asked him to appear before the court whenever the proceedings required his presence , if violated CBI could approach the court for cancellation.
The CBI has so far filed 13 charge sheets in the case against Jagan, his aides, former state ministers, IAS officers, corporate entities, and businessmen.Now the CBI has sent a special petition to the special court seeking for the cancellation of the bail which was previously granted.The reason behind the petition to cancel is they accuse YSR Congress leader of tampering the witness.
They doubt whether he may influence the witness which will lead to diversion in the case.The case is regarding illegal assets and his shares in the private firms that were given to his father for the favour done to them when he was in rule between 2004-2009.
