House of Natasimha Balakrishna, Hindupur MLA will be bulldozed soon. As a part of road widening plan, GHMC is all set to demolish the front portion of Balakrishna's ancestral house,once owned by his dad and former CM NTR on Road no 45, Jubilee Hills.
GHMC has undertaken the demolition drive to widen the Jubilee Hills Check Post road which is congested with traffic jams. The GHMC standing committee has approved a compensation not just for the actor but many others whose properties will be acquired.
NTR bought the house for Rs 9/ sq yard during 70s. It now costs Rs 1.5 lakh/sq yard. AP CM Chandra Babu once lived in the house and his son Lokesh was brought up. Later he gave it to Balakrishna.
GHMC commissioner Dr B. Janardhan Reddy said “Officials confirmed that the actor’s house was on the list for land acquisition.”
