Our very well known former Indian Cricket captain MS Dhoni is no longer a cricketer alone .He is the CEO of Gulf oil. Dhoni has been appointed as CEO of one of the India's Navarathna companies. He took charge as CEO of Gulf Oil India for just one day and performed his duties at the head office in New Delhi.
Doesn't it sound cinematic!!Clad in a navy blue suit, to understand how a corporate CEO works with the royal executive look the cricketer turned Chief Executive Officer occupied the hot chair and surprised the company employees. In fact, Dhoni is the employee of the company. "As a CEO of the company for the day,Dhoni attended all the special meetings of the company. He will also take quite a few decisions, of real CEO," an official said.
The company officials said Dhoni's association with the company has long history nad he was curious to know how a corporate CEO works. He was interested to try this out too.The former Indian captain was actually the brand ambassador of Gulf Oil back in 2011 and from then on he has shared a good bond with the company. To take this relationship to the next level, the company decided to appoint him as CEO for a day and he was made the"THE ONE DAY CEO".
