1.  Dalai Lama's visit seriously damaged ties with India: China :  China said today that it will lodge a diplomatic protest to India for "obstinately" allowing the Dalai Lama to visit the "disputed" Arunachal Pradesh, causing "serious damage" to bilateral ties.
2.  Attacks on Nigerians: Sushma Swaraj says not all attacks are racial :  External affairs minister Sushma Swarajsaid that "not all attacks are racial" after opposition members raised concern over the attacks on Nigerians in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday.
3.  India has never used me against China: Dalai Lama :  The Dalai Lama today asked Beijing to give Tibet a meaningful autonomy for the mutual benefit of both his homeland and China.
4.  Pakistan violates ceasefire in Poonch, fourth incident of unprovoked firing in less than 48 hours :  Pakistani troops on Wednesday again resorted to mortar shelling and firing by automatic weapons along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, prompting the Army to retaliate.
5.  Pakistan should stop backing militancy: Mehbooba Mufti :  Jammu & Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti asked Pakistan on Tuesday to stop supporting militancy in the state and allow peace to return.
6.  Over 2,000 Anantnag youths take tests to join Army :  Over 2,000 youths in their twenties travelled all the way from South Kashmir's Anantnag to take part in the Army recruitment drive that was held on Tuesday at Haiderbeig camp in Pattan in Baramulla district of North Kashmir. 
7.  All agricultural assets to be geo-tagged by ISRO's NRSC; MoU to be signed tomorrow :  In order to keep a track of agricultural assets in the country through online recording and monitoring, the Centre has decided to geo-tag all such infrastructure in a phased manner. The agriculture ministry will on Thursday sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) to do this job.
8.  Vigilantes set fire to alcohol outlets, beat up staff in Rajasthan, UP :  While the Supreme Court has ordered closure of liquor shops near the highways, protests demanding shifting of liquor shops from villages and towns have intensified across the north India.
9.  It is partial relief for farmers: Rahul on UP loan waiver :   Congress vice president Rahul Gandhitoday said the UP government's decision to waive off farm loan was a "partial relief" but a step in the "right direction" and asked the Centre to evolve a national response to the widespread distress.
10.  Railways developing 400 A1 and A category stations :   Railways have planned to redevelop about 400 'A-1' and 'A' category stations, including Delhi, with private participation, Lok Sabha was informed today.
