AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu recently conducted cabinet expansion and inducted new blood to get going ahead of the 2019 elections. However his cabinet reshuffle left many high and dry and many openly expressed their anger against Chandra Babu's decision.
Chandra Babu is trying to pacify all of them and in the meantime many are left wondering whether work from home ministers do wonders in AP development.
It is coming out that five new ministers do not have chambers and it will take some time. Till that time the new ministers will work from home. Chandra Babu's son Lokesh got cabin for him and plans are on to convert at least three conference halls are being converted into ministers' chambers.
Though the secretariat at Velagapudi was designed with chambers for 26 ministers, few of them were merged due to lack of space for the ministers. A source shared “Most ministers who have chambers are occasional visitors to the Secretariat and are mostly touring their constituencies. So this will not create any problem,“
