Kerala the green state known for natural beauty which makes the tourist dumbstruck by its nature has now got a different kind of threat.This threat is on the tourism of the country which is the one of the primary income for the state.As much as Kerala is known for its lush greenery and exquisite weather, the state is also notoriously famous for adult films. The association of Kerala known as 'God's Own Country' with porn was so much that a search for the word 'Kerala' on Google used to pop up many porn clips in the Top 20 search results.
Fearing that the adult brand could affect the tourism revenue of the state, Tourism Department of Kerala launched a mission on YouTube some four years back. And, the Kerala govt. has now finally subsided the tag of 'land of Porn' and tops with its lush greenery videos. As per reports, tourism videos have now topped porn clips in the top search results for Kerala.
Since 2012, the Tourism Department has been regularly uploading several professional tourism video on YouTube. Besides flooding its videos on YouTube, the Tourism Department has taken several other steps and developed a working arrangement with the popular video sharing website in its bid to make tourism videos even more popular than the porn adult clips.
