Speculation is increasing whether KCR can mesmerise PM Modi. It is known that Telangana CM KCR passed enhanced quota bill for muslims and STs in the state and he is now leaving to Delhi to meet PM Modi and convince him to give his consent for the bill which enables reservations to muslims.
KCR is leaving to Delhi on April 22 to attend NITI-Aayog general council meeting which will be chaired by PM Modi. KCR will be apprising Modi on the recent bill passed by his government which increased reservations for muslims from 4-12% in jobs and education.
It is known that BJP is against reservations on basis of religion in any form and already Union Ministers and senior leaders vehemently opposed TRS government's move.
Already they threatened to launch state wide agitation against the bill and also warned to fight it out legally. It has to be seen how PM Modi will react to KCR's advances on the issue.
