Many are wondering whether Telangana CM KCR and Andhra Pradesh CM Chandra Babu can hit the bulls eye. It is known that KCR and Chandra Babu are leaving no stone unturned to get their parties reelected in the 2019 elections.
They are going in top gear and are trying to fulfill all poll promises before the 2019 elections. Speculation is increasing on both Chandra Babu and KCR advancing the poll dates and go for early polls in 2018 to take on the unprepared opposition parties.
Already both of them got internal surveys and they are over the moon with the survey results which predict strong showing in the upcoming elections. In the meantime speculation is increasing whether KCR and Chandra Babu can hit the bulls eye.
Sources say silmultaneous polls may not be possible in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. As such the present TS Assembly’s term will continue till June 8, 2019, the AP Assembly’s term expires on June 18, 2019.
As per the Representation of People’s Act, the Election Commission on its own can schedule the next elections any time in the six months before the expiry of the Assembly. This means Assembly elections for AP and TS can be held anywhere between January to June, 2019. However, it’s not possible to hold polls before January 2019, unless they are forced.
Early polls are possible only if the CM passes resolution recommending early polls and Governor recommending the dissolution of the assembly.
