Is Chandra Babu Naidu planning to escape elections headache. Seems so according to his speeches. It is known that sometime back PM Modi batted for one nation one election and mooted the idea of having simultaneous elections for loksabha and state assemblies.
During that time Chandra Babu Naidu's son Lokesh opposed the idea saying the nation is not ready for such experiment. This came as shock since Chandra Babu earlier supported PM Modi's idea. But now it seems Chandra Babu supports one nation one election.
Speaking to scribes Chandra Babu Naidu said “Instead of facing the headache of facing elections every three months or six months, it is better to get ready for `one nation, one election', which will bring frequent polls to an end,“
He added “It is very simple. The people will vote for a political party which serves them better and hence I am confident that we are going to be in power for the next 20 years,“
