5.  Rare Sjogren's Syndrome stumps Gandhi hospital doctors :  Nearly 12 percent of the 670 patients checked during an awareness programme at the state-run Gandhi hospital were found to have symptoms ofSjogren's Syndrome, a rare disease which was unheard of in the city.
6.  To curb blood shortage, KCR government to invest 50cr to establish 13 new banks in state :  In a move that is expected to save hundreds of lives in the districts and also reduce the load on government hospitals like Gandhi, Osmania, Niloufer, Zajgikhana among others in Greater Hyderabad, the TRS government is establishing 13 more blood banks in the state ensuring that all district hospitals had one blood bank each.

10.  Superbug spectre stares at Hyderabad: Bacteria in distant pharma dumps defy antibiotics :  The city appears to be on the threshold of drug resistance with bacteria collected from lakes and other water bodies and soil from places as far away as 50 km from pharmaceutical clusters showing resistance to at least 10 potent drugs.

2.  Man held for consuming alcohol in Tirumala :  A devotee from Nizamabad was arrested on Sunday for allegedly consuming alcohol in public near the SMC area in Tirumala.
3.  Action plan to combat road safety violations :  The Transport Department, in coordination with allied wings, has designed a comprehensive action plan to bring down the number of road accidents in the State.
4.  Jagan’s letter draws flak from Ministers :  Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders and Ministers came down on YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for his poser to the State government on unemployment allowance.
5.  Power utilities to be more consumer-friendly :  The State government has decided to conduct ‘Meet Your Consumer’ programmes at regular intervals at the district and mandal level for addressing the concerns expressed by consumers in a time-bound manner.

10.  NEET held peacefully amid a close watch by invigilators :  The National Eligibility–cum–Entrance Test (NEET) – 2017 for admission into the MBBS and BDS courses was held peacefully in Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Guntur and Tirupati on Sunday.
