KCR has given a sweet shock to all the women of Telangana by signing this Rs 160 Crore deal for Bathukamma Sarees.The Telangana state government is planning to order for over 86 Lakh sarees to women who are below the poverty line.White card holders are eligible for this.
This scheme is actually double beneficial as it benefits both the weavers and the people.Because this order is to be handovered to the handloom weavers who are in a bad shape now.This order from the Government is sure to lift their living.
This saree gift distribution is scheduled for Bathukamma, a traditional festival of the state. - Added to this there are another 5 lakh sarees which are a part of KCR Kit which comes around 12.5 crores.The Kit includes a baby oil, baby bed, mosquito net, dresses, saris, handbag, towels and napkins, powder, diapers, shampoo and toys for the kid.
This Bathukamma sarees and the KCR kit earns a very good welcoming response from the people of Telangana.While AP Cheif Minister Chandrababu Naidu introduces happy index to his state KCR makes his state people happy with the saree gift.
