It is comingout that attempts are on to encroach into Jagan's powerful territory by his rivals. It is known that Jagan is expanding his base riding on the huge support generated by his father, former CM YSR.
Ever since the tragic demise of YSR, Jagan emerged as a strong force giving scares to all his rivals. In order to corner him, the then UPA government slapped corruption cases and sent him to jail. To undercut his support among masses, Congress decided to bifurcate the state of united Andhra Pradesh.
Even then Jagan hoped to become CM of Andhra Pradesh but Modi, Chandra Babu's alliance and Pawan Kalyan's support changed the equations. Now with Jagan highlighting the failures of Chandra Babu government and the ruling TDP facing anti incumbency wave, Congress party is planning to encroach on Jagan's territory.
Congress which got crushed in the wrath of people of AP after the bifurcation feels that it can attack BJP and thus can shoot two birds Chandra Babu and Jagan at one shot. It feels by attacking Modi and exposing Jagan and Chandra Babu it can win the hearts of the muslims.
Congress which passed time by organising only pressmeets and criticising BJP now decided to organise rallies against PM Modi and BJP president Amit Shah.
