As per report from sources it was stated that in a gruesome blast, at least 19 people are feared dead while over 50 are injured. The blast took place in Manchester Arena in Hunts Bank, Manchester, England.
It was stated that the blast happened at about 10.35 PM (local time) BST on Monday [i.e. 3.05 AM Tuesday in India] following a pop concert by the US singer Ariana Grande. According to British Transport Police, the explosion took place in the Arena's foyer and currently the British police treating the blast as a possible terrorist incident.
Meanwhile the cause of the blast is yet to be known, it is suspected that
the attack could had been carried out by a suicide bomber. Prime Minister
Theresa May said her thoughts were with those affected by "what is being
treated by the police as an appalling terrorist attack".
Moreover when condemning the attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted on Tuesday morning at 6.53 AM, "Pained by the attack in Manchester. We strongly condemn it. Our thoughts are with the families of the deceased & prayers with the injured."
