MIM party weilds iron like grip in Hyderabad and especially in the Old City. No one dare to enter the premises and if they dare and enter,they will face the music from MIM leaders and cadre. Even the breakup faction of MIM, MBT is facing huge problems to take on Asaduddin Owaisi and his brother Akbaruddin Owaisi.
They always align with the ruling parties and enjoy immense pressure without responsibility. Even law enforcing authorities experience shivers down their spines and only when courts rap them they take an eyewashing action.
Now many are wondering whether Owaisi is experiencing defeat scares in the 2019 elections. Ruling TRS is trying to expand and now BJP set its sights on Telangana and especially on Hyderabad constituency.
BJP president Amit Shah said his target is to win Hyderabad seat. Owaisi dared Amit Shah to contest against him from Hyderabad in 2019. Owaisi said "I am telling you Mr (Narendra) Modi and Mr (Amit) Shah...mark my words...we will ensure that BJP is defeated from Secunderabad Lok Sabha seat. The people of Hyderabad will tell you. You will lose deposit from Goshamahal... you (BJP) will lose Amberpet, Musheerabad, Khairtabad and also Uppal Assembly seats (in Hyderabad). You will face big loss in Telangana...Insha Allah,"
But many say even localites are angry with Owaisi ignoring his constituency and trying to expand his party across the country.
