Protests are raging from several directions after the cattle ban.Now the Union Environment Ministry is examining to introduce a new change the definition of cattle in its new rules to exclude buffaloes from a ban on sale for slaughter at animal markets.
Mamata Banerjee,Chief Minister of Bengal and Pinarayi Vijayan Chief Minister of Kerela called the order an attack on state powers and said they would challenge it legally. Protests have spread from all directions including Kerala to Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
