The sudden and tragic demise of former Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa broke the iron like grip on AIADMK. Right after her death various factions of AIADMK started fighting for their share of power.
Now the gap between the warring Sashikala faction and AIADMK leaders are increasing with each passing day. It is known that Sasikala's nephew TTV.Dinakaran came out on bail.
Though he got resounding welcome on his return, Ministers under CM E.Palaniswamy's leadership are not showing interest in meeting him. They also made official announcements that they willnot meet Dinakaran under any circumstances.
Minister D.Jayakumar speaking at a function said cadre of AIADMK (Amma) willnot meet Dinakaran. He claimed that the government will work under the leadership of Palaniswamy and they don't have any remote controls or backseat driving.
He then said they are ready to work cordially with former CM O.Pannerselvam and fired on Pannerselvam's statements that Tamil Nadu will face assembly elections soon. He said if Pannerselvam is planning for the dissolving of the current AIADMK government and hoping for fresh elections then Amma Jayalalithaa soul will never forgive or pardon him.
