Satellites are launched in the space for various reasons.The main reason among them is man’s curiosity to know what is beyond him.In that effort, a Kepler spacecraft was launched in 2009. The mission is to search the nearby close regions to explore any new planets and miniscule drop in a star's brightness when a planet crosses in fornt of it.
With the latest news got from the sateellite, Kepler has detected a total of 4,034 planet candidates out of which 2,335 are verified as exoplanets. Among them 50 are to the sixe of the Earth and are verified as habitable zone candidates detected by Kepler.Thiry planet candidates are verified as of now and thr remaining ones are yet to be verified.
