1.  Ex-women convicts to run petrol bunk in Hyderabad :   Putting their criminal past behind, 16 former women convicts of Chanchalguda prison will start a new life from June 23. They will work for a pay of Rs 12,000 per month at an all-women petrol station.
2.  Hyderabad in top 5 for travel bookings in monsoon :  "With monsoon being the lean season for travel operators, fares and prices have dropped. New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai are the top five cities from where maximum number of bookings, for monsoon travel, have been recorded," said Balu Ramachandran, head of air and distribution at Cleartrip. 
3.  Telangana, Andhra and Odisha workers starved by firm during Ramzan in Saudi Arabia :  Twenty-four Indian workers from Telangana, AP and Odisha have complained that the company they have been employed with is starving them during Ramzan in Saudi Arabia.
4.  Telangana 'wanted' workers struggle to return home from Saudi Arabia :  Nineteen workers from Telangana, who wanted to make use of the amnesty scheme in Saudi Arabia and return to India, suffered a jolt with their kafils (employers) declaring them 'matloob' or wanted.
5.  Andhra Pradesh, south India's rice bowl, banks on Telangana for the grain :  Andhra Pradesh, known for being south India's rice bowl, is now depending on Telangana for rice. Two successive seasons have been so bad in terms of rice production that AP millers and traders are now procuring paddy and rice from the neighbouring state to market demand.
6.  Telangana home secretary approaches CAT, seeks rectification of seniority anamolies :  The tribunal's administration member Ranjana Chowdary gave four weeks to the UPSC to file its counter. She was seeking rectification of anomalies in her seniority and urging the tribunal to bring her on par with her colleagues who joined the service along with her or an year later.
7.  First inflow of river Krishna raises hope of good season :  For Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, sometimes at loggerheads over sharing of river water, there is some good news. The first inflows of river Krishna entered Telangana on Tuesday raising hopes of good season for two states.
8.  'Will not absorb people unlawfully' :  Telangana power utilities  and their power distribution companies on Wednesday informed the Hyderabad high court that they will not absorb their temporary employees through outsourcing mode till a clear procedure is evolved. senior counsel G Vidya Sagar assured a bench of acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice T Rajani that there won't be unlawful absorptions.
9.  Transport goof-up: Toddler heads to wrong play school, cops left in a tizzy :  A toddler attending a play school was accidentally mistaken for another child creating panic in Bachupally. The case of mistaken identity kept the police on tenterhooks for a few hours on Wednesday morning.
10.  Traffic curbs for prayers on last Friday of Ramzan :   In connection with Jummat-ul-Vida (last Friday of Ramzan month) prayers at the Mecca Masjid and Jame-e-Masjid, Secunderabad on Friday, traffic restrictions will be imposed in some parts of the city.


Andhra Pradesh
1.  Tap solar energy, Goyal tells RINL :  The Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), corporate entity of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP), should foray into tapping solar energy and reduce dependence on fossil fuel, Union Minister of State for Energy and Coal (independent charge) Piyush Goyal has said. 
2.  Top priority to welfare of Brahmins :  Chairman of the AP Brahmin Welfare Corporation Vemuri Anand Surya on Wednesday said the government would ensure top priority to the welfare of the community.
3.  Airports in private sector at Amaravati, Vizag: Naidu :  Airports better than the one in Hyderabad would come up at Amaravati and Visakhapatnam in the private sector, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced at Orvakal on Wednesday. 
4.  CM counters YSRC MLA :  YSR Congress MLA S. Aisaiah’s criticism that the State government was taking over fertile lands from farmers for setting up industries was countered by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at Thangadancha in Jupadu Bungalow mandal in Kurnool district on Wednesday.
5.  At Iftar, CM vows to protect Wakf properties :  Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said on Wednesday an action plan would be chalked out to protect Wakf properties. Mr. Naidu participated in an Iftar hosted by the State government at Nandyal and greeted Muslims and their religious elders. 
6.  Pre-GST sales a boon for Id shoppers :  Most of the stores are offering pre-GST discounts up to 50% or more and special sales to clear stocks before July 1. This has come as a boon for shoppers.
7.  VMC awaiting Rs. 73.22 crore, Mayor tells Nara Lokesh :  Mr. Sridhar told Mr. Lokesh that the corporation was awaiting the balance grant of Rs. 73.22 crore spent during the Krishna Pushkarams in the city.
8.  GST will help curb tax evasion: Goyal :  The revolutionary tax reform, Goods and Services Tax (GST), will bring much of the informal sector into the formal sector, largely curbing tax evasion, Minister of State for Energy and Coal (independent charge) Piyush Goyal said here on Wednesday. Speaking at an interactive session on GST, he said with its “one country, one tax” motto, GST would hugely benefit the consumers.
9.  Land scam: Present evidence to SIT :  The Opposition-sponsored maha dharna against land scandals in Visakhapatnam district has no logic as the government has already ordered an inquiry by the SIT and the Opposition should present any evidence it has to it, R&B Minister Ch. Ayyanna Patrudu has said.
10.  CM to launch IGBC Amaravati chapter on June 23 :  Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will launch the Amaravati chapter of Confederation of Indian Industry-Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) at Hotel Gateway on June 23, according to a release by CII Director (A.P.) S. Jyoti Kumar.
