Saudi Arabia has thwarted 2 major terror strikes at the Grand Mosque in Mecca. A Security Spokesperson of the Saudi Interior Ministry said that two massive attacks were planned in Mecca and a third one was being initiated at Jeddah.
But the plans were foiled in the Assila district of Makkah. The second plan was averted at Ajyad al Masafi neighbourhood. Security forces came to know that a Suicide bomber was hiding in a house at Mecca neighbourhood and they opened fire.
Immediately, noticing the situation, the suicide bomber blew himself as the security task forces were closing in. The security also arrested five others which includes one woman. Stay tuned for more updates.
