Kochi sources have stated that as per the probe report by the Managing Director Elias George on the alleged melee which was caused by the Congress activists at Kochi Metro stations and it was stated that overcrowding in trains will also be submitted to Kochi Metro Rail limited (KMRL).
Meanwhile George directed Metro agency’s Director to probe into the investigation in which Congress activists had allegedly created pandemonium on the metro premises. The officer who is in charge of the probe is asked to look at all the CCTV footages before submitting the report. All the footage was analyzed and scrutiny was made regarding the allegations.
Moreover KMRL had stated that two others from
community who were trained to man stations did not qualify for the post and
rest of the transgender refused to join duty stating reason of inadequate
pay. KMRL official said transgender
community people were paid on par with other staffs who are selected from
Kudumbasree work force.
