An agitation is on for the Separate Gorkhaland State in West Bengal which has become as a headache for Mamata Banerjee Government there. People of Darjeeling Hill Region are agitating for a separate state as they feel discrimination just like the case of Telangana in the United Andhra Pradesh.
The agitation has become intense in the recent times and some of the leaders have come to Hyderabad to meet Telangana JAC Chairman Kodandaram to seek his ideas and experiences. Kodandaram advised them to form various JACs with different sections of Darjeeling.
He asked them to agitate with the help of all the sections while coordinating between themselves. It is known to our readers that there are separate JACs of Teachers, Employees, Students, and others during Telangana Agitation and they are very successful.
