Indian Army chief Bipin Rawat is known for his aggressive stand on terrorism and other activities. Bipin Rawat who overlooked the surgical strikes operations against Pakistan, speaking to scribes shared about Army's options against Pakistan. 


Speaking to scribes he said “Pakistan thinks it is fighting an easy war that’s paying them dividends, but we have options (other than surgical strikes) that are far more impactful and effective. Our army is not barbaric. I don’t want to (collect) heads because we are a disciplined force,”


On US designating Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin as a global terrorist, Bipin Rawat said “I will wait and watch to see if Pakistan truly reins him in, because he was issuing a calendar of protests on the very day he was designated,”


He then questioned  “The election commission staff called for help. What if they had been lynched?” and added “I am not on the ground. I don’t know what my boys are going through, but I have to be the motivator.”
