Sources from Jerusalem have made a statement that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will get down to business today with back to back meetings with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli leaders that will focus on cooperation on defense, security, water and more. It was stated that apart from the multiple pacts that the two strategic partners are expected to seal at Wednesday's meetings.
Sources have added that both leaders had yesterday spoken in one voice to resolutely combat terrorism and radicalism. Mr. Netanyahu stated that Israel, which has emerged as India's top arms supplier, is 13 times national capital Delhi's area with less than half of its population.
Sources have reported that PM Modi will also discuss a plan for Israeli
help in boosting India's food security. The plan is to expand 26 agriculture
expertise centres that Israel has set up in 15 Indian states to help increase
output of everything from vegetables to mangoes and pomegranates. His visit to
Israel should bring peace, stability and prosperity to our country.
