IT giant Infosys announces a salary hike to its approximately around  2 lakh employees, but there is not much to joy  about for the IT techies for two reasons: the Bengaluru-based company won't be paying the lagging  arrears for the April-June period  the hike will become effective  only from July 1 and the rate of increase at 5-11 percent on an average is comparatively lower than last year.

Last year by this hike time, Infosys had announced a hike around 6-12 percent, with staff  working in h1b visa abroad getting 1 percent pay increase on an average, it is lower than 2 percent when compared to 2015.

At least to be on the glad side Infosys has announced a hike despite many employees are sacked off from the IT companies.But the attractive pay that attracts people towards IT is facing decline and job security is becoming a big question in this field??.Stay tuned for latest updates about IT industry here.
