According to sources currently, speculations have been riding high that politicians are the next target. Few media organizations have started circulating rumors that popular politicians and their aides are involved in drugs. It was stated that as per the latest report on its online platform that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Roja were "involved" in a drugs case. However, the organization has removed the link later.
In between, a slew of online media platforms has already copied the story and started circulating the rumor. YSRCP supporters allege that there is no substantial basis for this story and it was just 'cooked up' or mere speculation and coming down heavily on a section of media.
Since drugs case is very sensitive and creates unwanted turbulence in families, kin of the accused and personal reputation of individuals & their businesses are at stake, many opine that media should cross check twice or thrice before naming someone. It’s high time media persons should maintain composure instead of running behind sensationalism.
