Meanwhile, CPI (M) lawmaker from Palakkad MB Rajesh introduced an adjournment notice in the Lok Sabha, seeking an explanation from the central government. V Muralidharan, the national executive Council member of BJP said ' He doesn’t believe that the central government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi can be influenced by any type of corruption or bribery. Last 3 years, our govt has not succumbed to any of this".

Moreover, the party, which has been trying to make political inroads in Kerala, has only one elected representative in the state assembly. The BJP is likely to discuss the internal probe report in the party's core committee meeting today in Kerala's Alappuzha district.
