Sources from Punjab have made a statement that video of a school teacher and the principal beating one another in the presence of staff members and students has gone viral. The Education Department swung into action on Wednesday and suspended the teacher while the principal Veena Bassi was transferred.

Reportedly, the science teacher Kailash Rani and Veena had differences which resulted in the scuffle. Both of them leveled charges against one another in the presence of Education Secretary Krishan Kumar. The official formed an inquiry committee and took action after the panel submitted report.
