According to sources on the occasion of 71st Independence
Day, Jana Sena Party President Pawan Kalyan received an invitation from the
Governor of the two Telugu States, ESL Narasimhan to attend a special tea party
that he hosts in Raj Bhavan for the Chief Ministers and other prominent leaders
of the two Telugu states. Jana Sena party released a press note in this regard.
Sources have stated that the Governor hosts this small
get-together named 'At Home' every year but this is the first time Pawan has
been sent the invitation. This shows the steadily growing prominence of Pawan
Kalyan in state politics. The actor turned politician will reportedly attend
the event to be held this evening in Raj Bhavan. He is expected to be the
cynosure of all eyes in the party that will be attended by the Andhra Pradesh
CM Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana CM KCR.
Yesterday morning, Pawan hoisted the Tricolor at Jana Sena
office in Hyderabad. Yesterday, he took to Twitter and greeted people of the
nation on the occasion of Independence Day, terming it as the only festival
that brings together people of this great nation.
