According to sources from Vinukonda (Guntur district) it was stated that MLA GV Anjaneyulu is receiving huge applause for abandoning the preparations of his son's marriage and putting full efforts in rescuing the little boy who fell into a bore well on Tuesday.
Meanwhile the marriage of MLA Anjaneyulu's son happened yesterday morning in Guntur. Sources have stated that he was extremely busy until yesterday evening with the wedding preparations. However, as soon as he got a call at around 5 PM yesterday that a two year old boy fell into a bore well in Ummadivaram village of Vinukonda mandal, he left the wedding preparations as they were and immediately left to oversee the rescue works.
Accordingly the personnel of the National Disaster Response Force and other rescue teams saved the boy after an 11 hour long operation. Despite his son's marriage was scheduled next morning, Anjaneyulu stayed with the rescue teams until the boy was brought out of the bore well, at around 3AM on the Wednesday morning. He left to Guntur only after handing the boy to his parents. Sources have added that the MLA's relentless involvement in the rescue works notwithstanding his son's marriage is being well appreciated.
