Sources have stated that an actress Poorna says she doesn’t have any qualms to shave off her head for the sake of her character in Tamil film Kodi Veeran. Poorna said that she wants to get into the skin of the character. "She is getting to do something different and is sure the role will be very well received. That's exactly why she didn't mind shaving her head".
Meanwhile she clarified she didn't accept the role to prove a point. "She accepted the role only after she realized the potential of her character. It's not the kind of role all actresses would do and that excited her the most".
Moreover she has pinned high hopes on the
film, which has been directed by Muthiah. The film, shot entirely in Madurai,
features Sasikumar in the lead.
