Andhra Pradesh sources have stated that the sudden entry of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Nandyal by-poll campaign has changed the prevailing political equations overnight. Although YSR Congress Party has been claiming upper hand with the vigorous campaign by its party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the last ten days, Naidu’ s active participation in the campaign from Saturday is giving jitters to the opponents.
Sources have stated that Chandrababu's one-to-one meetings with all community leaders and local business communities have doubled the confidence levels among the local TDP cadre. Accordingly the overwhelming support receiving by Naidu in the public meetings and road shows has further tightened the fight between TDP and YSR Congress in the most anticipated by-election that is touted as semi-finals ahead of general elections in 2019.
Moreover the TDP leaders have been closely monitoring statements, allegations of the opposition leaders and giving befitting counters instantly in every public meeting.
